If you want a heavy, tightly wound coil for a moonshine still this is your huckleberry. Coil is wound from 1/4" OD copper. It is roughly 1-3/4" in diameter and 9.5" long. It's a perfect size for a 2" copper column. The stub outs are about 3" long making the coil roughly 12.5" long overall. This coil is made from refrigeration grade copper and since it is so tightly wound it uses about twice as much copper as our other 2" coils offered here. You should get excellent heat transfer with this baby.
Our solid copper coils, worms, reflux coils, or condensers are made one at a time and hand wound on a custom made mandrel so the tube can't kink while forming. Each coil is then cleaned, flushed inside and out and pressurized to ensure there are no leaks.
BTW, We don't use sand, salt or other fillers to form our coils so there is no clean-out required saving you an hour or two of your valuable time.
