If you're into making your own 3" plated flute then these 3" copper perforated plates are just what the doctor ordered. They are sized to fit on top of the silicone gasket between the body sections so that the vapor cannot channel by the sides. You can easily build a downcomer using easy to obtain 1/2" copper standard plumbing pipe.
